| The
Historical Society of Old Yarmouth was founded in 1953 to preserve,
promote and present, the history of
Yarmouth. The Society
collects information, documents and artifacts related to
Yarmouth's past, publishes
materials relating to
Yarmouth's history and owns
property - including the Captain Bangs Hallet House and the
adjoining Nature Trails - which help further this mission. It also
sponsors programs designed to encourage interest in our town's proud
heritage. |
